My name is Calodagh McCumiskey and I’m a leading astrologer, wellbeing and life coach based in Wexford, Ireland.
I work with individuals, couples, executives, business owners and entrepreneurs to help you discover more about yourself, your life, your purpose, and your potential through powerful and insightful Vedic astrology consultations
Astrology has changed my life and is one of the core tools I use in my day-to-day work, along with life coaching skills, meditation, and other wellbeing practices. I’m excited to share the benefits of astrology with you, as a wonderful tool to help unlock your full potential and enrich your life.
My journey in astrology
My journey in astrology began in India in 2004, when I visited an astrologer who could tell me things about myself and my life that no one knew – based on the chart of the moment I walked into his office. I was immediately hooked.
Over time, through study and practice, astrology has helped me deepen my relationship with myself and the inner workings of my mind and soul. The passion I have for astrology has only deepened and strengthened over the last 17 years. Having seen the benefits of astrology in my own life, I’m delighted to now share this knowledge with my clients.
I regularly visit India to deepen my knowledge of Vedic astrology. I found a mentor and guide in Pandit Shashi Dubey, the founder of The Indian School of Natural Spiritual Sciences. He is also the Founder and Chairman of The Astrologers Trust of India, which I am now also an advisor to.

Photo taken with Baba, a Sanyasi and Sadhu (sage) in Mana village on the banks of the Holy Saraswati River. Mana is the last Indian village near the border with China. It is a highly spiritually and cosmically charged place. The holy texts of the Vedas and Upanishads were written nearby. When you visit, you can experience self knowledge, a transcendental stage of mind and higher consciousness when you close your eyes. I have travelled these areas with my spiritual guide Pt Shashi Dubey and was honoured to meet Baba along the way.
Where it began
I started my career in crisis management, a role that took me across four continents. For 14 years, I worked in emergency aid relief in Africa and Asia, helping to combat the impact of natural and man-made disasters on people’s lives in the region.
I oversaw aid operations at country level and was in charge of strategic planning, resource allocation, government and partner relationships, programmes, teams and budgets. The coping and management skills I learned, as well as the ability to think clearly and calmly under pressure, greatly inform much of my work today.
It was in this role that I had the privilege to see the strength of spirit that individuals and communities can summon to overcome adversity.
I learnt that there exists in all of us an indomitable will to survive. Our emotions, our thoughts, our lifestyle habits, are all unique to each of us. They are tied to the planets in the skies. Our birth chart helps us to unlock a deep understanding of why we act the way we do.
